cdr should work on most UNIX platforms. However, development was
done on the Intel platform using Slackware Linux. As such, some
of the build scripts may have been geared towards the Intel
platform and Linux specific.

At any rate, making this program work on other platforms shouldn't
be too hard. The install script is quite easy to follow, so only
minimal editing should be required. The original author was apparently able
to get this program on Solaris 2.5.1 in about 15 minutes...so it is
possible.

If you edit some scripts to make it compile through the install
script on other platforms, I'd appreciate a diff of what you did.
That way I can include it in future releases.
