I just finished (what was to me) an epic trek from Oakland (SF) to Altadena (LA), largely following the Adventure Cycling Association Pacific Coast Bicycle Route. It was amazingly fun. Here are the InstaMapper tracks I fished out of the trek, including some riding I did with a friend in Altadena afterwards. Note that the tracks are occasionally different then reality - the GPS beacon I was using depends on cellular connectivity and was a cheap (but good enough) consumer device, so it just couldn't upload data all the time. They're close enough though.

• Oakland to Marina - Day 1 Photo Journal - home, over the Santa Cruz mountains, down the coast
• Marina to Cambria - Day 2 Photo Journal - down the coast through the San Andreas fault zone into ranch land
• Cambria to Santa Barbara - Day 3 Photo Journal - inland through farms, over a ridge to and down the coast
• Santa Barbara to Altadena - Day 4 Photo Journal - coast edge down to LA, through LA and North to Altadena
• Rose Bowl Jazz - fooling around the Rose Bowl and the climbs near it
• Griffith Park - a good ride around Pasadena and Griffith Park
• Loma Alta Loops - a good loop around my friends house
